David Griffin photo essay

I best believe that the photo journal of the Army Soldier recovery best meets the criteria of David Griffin's Excellence because it's showcases all the categories. Although I can only see the photos that he chose, I can take a guess that he took hundreds of almost equal greatness on that trip, mainly due to the photographical opportunities that a war like this has to offer. This then leads to the great curator ship that he has to show to choose the correct photos used to show the emotion and action and recovery was such a timeline. Griffin has to keep his camera out at all times because he never knew when a great opportunity May show itself. Griffin takes great photos that are able to stay in the mind of the viewer because of the great emotional impact it can have with people like veterans, their family members and people who have been around when or experience and recovery such as this one. The photograph of the returned soldier who was holding his surfboard looking out into the sea. This one photograph on its own matches all the criteria to griffins. The photo is able to connect with the audience in a way where we know what he is feeling and why. He has been in the war for so long that when he comes back, he just wants to do what he loves which is surfing and relax. It makes you realise how important the little things are and how much they can impact someone who has been through a lot. These little things can include hanging out with your family, doing the things you love and even running to the grocery store to pick up some milk. These are all little things that was hard for the soldier to do while in the war.
